I chose the Burren college of art website located west of Ireland near Galway. It was founded 1993 by Michale and Mary Greene. The page caught my eye with a nice landscape photo, which drew me to page.

It is well spaced and it is easy to follow the page as it was clutter free and neat. The links were to the point and easy to follow i.e. well tagged and named. The text was short to the point and in an easy to read sans serif font. Macro lines divided the space but it was so subtle you would not notice it. Columns were short and well written, a laid back approach. There was lots of information and they knew how to blow their own trumpet. They praised the local area with pubs music poets and the scenery.
All in all a good and insightful few pages. To sum up I would give the website 8 out of 10.

today we were workint to understand web pages.how they catch or dont catch the eye.working with positive and neg colours wite space,conventions simplicity.an all that.hope i can use what i was thaught to designe a web page?
